Remodel FAQ
Everything you need to know
Q: Where exactly will we be meeting during the remodel?
A: We will be holding our Worship Gatherings across the parking lot in Bethesda Christian School’s high school gym. The Gathering will still begin at 10:30am.
Q: What should I do if I can’t find where I’m supposed to be?
A: Look for our Warm Welcome Team members in green shirts! They are here to help you and answer any questions you may have.
Q: Which entrance should we use to get into the school?
A: Enter through Door 3 for the Worship Gathering. Look for the Parkside flags and our Warm Welcome Team!
Q: Where do we park, and has anything changed about parking?
A: You can park in either the church or school parking lots. We would recommend parking closer to the school building. There will be handicap accessible parking just East of Door 3. (NOTE: Younger members, you can serve our guests, families, and older members by parking a little further away so that they can have easier access to the building!)
Q: Is the school building wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes, the school building is wheelchair accessible.
Q: Will Sunday School still meet in the same place?
A: Contact your Sunday School leader to see if your meeting place has changed. Sunday School will still start at 9am.
Q: Will there be closed captioning for the deaf and hard-of-hearing?
A: Yes! We have Ava CC available for anyone to use. If you would like to learn how to use Ava, please ask one of our sound techs before the service. Aura cast is also available for those with compatible hearing aids.
Q: Is the school building safe and secure for children?
A: Yes. We have bolstered our security team during the time of the remodel.
Q: Where will children’s ministry take place during this time?
A: For safety purposes, we will not publish the answer online. Any of our pastors or Warm Welcome Team members can help you when you arrive!
Q: Will nursery still be available?
A: Yes! Nursery will be available during the remodel.
Q: Is there a mother’s room or quiet space for nursing moms?
A: Yes, we will have some spaces available. Please follow the signs, or ask someone on our Warm Welcome Team for guidance.
