Pastors are to lead in shepherding. They will oversee the church through preaching, teaching, prayer, and vision. Our pastors serve as a team of both paid and unpaid men.

  • Jared Alsdorf: Lay Pastor

Jared is a man outstanding in his field, literally. He is an agronomist who has a love for corn and skid-steers. When not out getting muddy in a field, he is with his wife Leah and their four kids. He has a love for people and serves as a lay pastor who oversees member care. Jared also teaches a Sunday School class. His love for the Bible is evident in every conversation, as is his love for missions work in Germany. Email Pastor Jared.

  • Scott Bradley: Lay Pastor

Dr. Scott grew up in this church and is a graduate of Bethesda Christian Schools, where he fell in love with his wife Joanna. He and Joanna have three kids. Scott is a research chemist and a chemistry teacher at BCS. While Scott really adds to the chemistry of the pastoral team, the other pastors rarely understand what he is talking about when he begins to discuss atoms, neutrons, and calculus equations. He serves as a lay pastor who oversees member care and he enjoys teaching people the doctrines of Scripture. Email Pastor Scott.

  • Steve Busch: Lay Pastor

He and his wife Tammy have been a part of this church family for 27 years, serving in various ministries. As a lay pastor, Steve specifically oversees our church's finances and policy committee. Steve also teaches a Sunday School class. While he spends his days working in the insurance industry, his true passion lies in speed walking, and pursuing his Olympic dreams in that event. However, Steve is more comfortable in the water than on land when he finds the opportunity to go diving. Email Pastor Steve.

  • Justin Cook: Lead Pastor

Justin is a 2nd generation pastor. He did his undergraduate work at Baptist Bible College (now Summit University) and his graduate work at Biola University. He and his wife Emily have three daughters. Prior to joining the pastoral staff at Parkside, he taught high school Bible for 5 years. Justin is a fan of all Indianapolis sports, although he still can’t figure out why Indy Eleven fans cheer for tie games. You’ll find him posting on Facebook about his family here and on his true social media love, Twitter. Email Pastor Justin.

  • Eddie Ferguson: Missions Pastor

Eddie is a graduate of BCS, Moody Bible Institute, and received his Masters of Biblical Studies from Moody Theological Seminary. He is a former missionary to Mexico and still randomly shouts things in Spanish. Since he thoroughly enjoys traveling the world to see all that God is doing, his fellow pastors enjoy calling him the Pastor of International Travel. Eddie is married to Sara and they have 3 awesome kids. He be spotted outside hiking and camping, consuming large amounts of coffee, and enjoying soccer...but not baseball. Email Pastor Eddie.

  • Drew McKay: Student Pastor

Drew is a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, though he is a true-blooded Hoosier. He and his wife Becca are the proud parents of two beautiful boys and two rambunctious dogs. Drew oversees our student ministries here at Parkside and is passionate about personal discipleship. You may spot him around town coaching various Brownsburg School sports or on a shoreline fishing. Email Pastor Drew.

  • Len Overton: Lay Pastor

Len has been a member of the church for over 60 years having served with his late wife, Margo, in various ministries during that time. Currently, he teaches an adult Sunday School class in addition to member care ministry. He is a retired engineer from Rolls-Royce, which allows him more time to visit nieces and nephews, and their families. Be careful if you ever see Len at a local pickleball court as he is known to dominate the local leagues. Email Pastor Len.
