Sunday school

All of our Sunday School classes teach a unified curriculum, so every member of the family is learning about the same passage of the Bible, in an age-appropriate way. They meet from 9-10 am before our worship service.

If you have any questions about our Sunday School groups, please email contact@parkside.org.

Bible Institute

Bible Institute

Bible Institute, our educational evening, is designed for people of all ages who want to learn the truths about God, His message, and how it affects every aspect of life and relationships. We offer men’s and women’s Bible studies. Courses are held on Sunday evenings, from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. Age-appropriate discipleship programming for the entire family takes place on Sunday nights with Ablaze for students and The Vine for children.

Current Study

Psalms The Psalms invite God’s people to interact with Him in all of life’s moments – from the highest joys to the deepest pains. This study will help you explore the Psalms deeply, guiding you to see God more clearly and how to interact with Him as a result. You’ll grow in your understanding of the Bible’s grand story as you see how these poems fit into the whole. Make sure to join us and invite a friend for men’s and women’s Bible study this January!

Book cost: $15

Dates for study:
January 4, 11, 18, 25
February 1, 15, 22
March 1, 8, 15, 22

Grace Marriage is marriage coaching, and is an intentional and proactive approach to re-focus on positives in your relationship. Marriage coaching is not a lecture. It is not marriage counseling or group therapy. It is not a seminar or conference. And finally, it is not a place where you will be forced to share your deepest secrets. Put simply, it is a Biblically-based marriage maintenance model that can revolutionize your relationship.

FAQs

Who can attend?

Any married couple may attend. A couple does not have to be a member of our church to participate.

What will it cost?

What does a normal date night cost if you go out to eat and see a movie, or if you go to a ballgame or concert? $75? $100? More? The cost for four sessions (a full year), including all materials, snacks, etc. is just $220 per couple for the year. That is less than $1 a day for a year. We encourage you to consider your participation fee as an investment in your marriage. What a great Christmas, birthday, or anniversary gift.

If financial assistance is needed, we would love to help. Contact Pastor Kasey to inquire about scholarship availability.

When are sessions held?

2024-25 dates can be found above. Sessions will be held in The Fellowship Center from 3pm – 9pm. Your meal and snacks are included. Participation requires making a commitment to attend all four sessions. If interested in observing a session of Grace Marriage, please contact Pastor Kasey

Shift the Drift

Find out more about Grace Marriage.

Who will we be with?

You will be in a group with your spouse as well as other couples who want their marriage to grow. A dozen other couples, plus a trained facilitator couple, will walk through the day’s material together. Spouses will have personal time together throughout the day to privately discuss the topics addressed. Groups will have mixed ages. Newly marrieds as well as couples who have been married for decades will be involved. Grace Marriage is more about spending time with your spouse, not about being with close friends. Although you will get to know others in your group better, the purpose is to spend time with your husband/wife and focus on your marriage.

What about childcare?

Grace Marriage sessions last around 6 hours. That is a long time for children to be at the church building, even if they have activities. We believe that most children would be happier in their own home or with family/friends they know. We also want to give couples freedom to focus on each other without feeling the need to check on the kids if they are just down the hallway. For these reasons childcare will not be offered. Consider the coaching days as an extended date – time for just the two of you.

How do we sign up?

Click on the “Register here” button in the middle of this page. If interested in observing a session of Grace Marriage, please contact Pastor Jake

How do we pay?

You may pay online when you register. A non-refundable fee of $220 is due upon signing up (for 4 sessions).

Is there a deadline?
